[F2S] Week 5 Updates - Site Tours, TikTok Challenge & Farm 2 School Fridays

We hope you had a great Thanksgiving Break. It's Monday and school is back in session...and so is Farm to School. In this short email we wanted to cover the following:

1. Site Tours

2. TikTok Challenge

3. The last Farm 2 School Fridays

4. Join Loop Photos and Videos

This week is all about Site Tours, wrapping up your TikTok Challenge videos with your students, and ending the week with a final half recorded half live session for Farm to School Fridays.

Site Tours.

If you aren't able to do an on-site tour, you can sign up for a Virtual Site Tour instead. Those that sign up will get a virtual site tour kit for their students.

TikTok Challenge

For those of you entering the TikTok Challenge (View PD here), we have the following prizes to choose from for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners:

• Click and Grow 9

• Pizza Party with Fresh Lettuces from our Greenhouse

• 1 Year of Tower Garden Services, includes Tower Garden, Plants and Maintenance Services

1st place gets 1st pick, 2nd place gets 2nd pick, and so on.

Farm 2 School Fridays

Please join us for the last Farm to School Fridays which will be part 2 of the recorded session followed by a LIVE Q&A. We will have Scott Berndt joining us from the Riverside Food Systems Alliance to answer questions and Raffle prizes to students who participate in the LIVE Q&A.
Join Loop

For all the teachers who have been uploading all the photos and videos to the Join Loop, we have really enjoyed seeing them. It's been such a treat to see all the students working with the kits and Click and Grows. It has really made doing this program worth it. Please continue to share photos and videos of your projects, or if you haven't yet, we would love to see them.
