Welcome to our 5th annual Farm to School Program, where students learn Farm to Table Concepts, get exposure to different ways of growing, and get career exposure related to our Food Ecosystems. Our goal is to reach 30 Schools and 100 Classrooms.

This is a 15 Episode program for San Bernardino City Unified School District students. Over the last two years, we have been in over 150 Classrooms and over 40 schools throughout the district. This also gives High School Students at San Andreas High School an opportunity to practice leadership and professional skills as they help lead elementary and middle school students across the district.

Thank you to the teachers who have already signed up for this year’s program!

Congrats to last year’s teachers who won the Raffle Prizes during last season’s Farm to School Fridays Episodes. Those who won the LettuceGrow Rental Service for your classroom, we will be reaching out to you soon to get those scheduled and set up.

About The Presentation

We are recording our presentations with a LIVE student audience at San Andreas High School and then streaming (“Airing”) the recorded session during one of the Fridays

Our series begins January 17th.

Audience

The Primary Audience is Elementary students. We have a small percentage of kindergarten and Middle School Students that will be LIVE for your presentation with General Education & Special Education students from San Andreas High School.

Goal

To provide career and industry exposure for students who might not otherwise have access to individuals or companies such as yours. We also cover Farm to Table Concepts or the Food Ecosystem to incorporate our applied learning in our AgTech Facility, Greenhouse, or student business enterprise.

It’s our hope that these sessions foster learning, career exploration, inspiration, and hope.

Time Commitment

This year we invite speakers to be part of a recorded LIVE student audience for about 1 hour and then be available for Q&A on the Air Date, whichever is most convenient to you (via in-person, on the phone, or virtually).
