RUBEN GONZALES-RODRIGUEZ, ASSISTANT FOOD SAFETY COORDINATOR & GROUNDS MANAGEMENT
Ruben Gonzales-Rodriguez is the Assistant Food Safety Coordinator and Grounds Manager. Ruben's attention to detail for food safety, potential cross-contamination and cleanliness provides Ruben with the perfect lens to ensure food safety standards are met. Ruben also helps maintain the greenhouse's interior and the Ag-Tech Facility's exterior. He has helped train general education students and adults who have participated in The Growing Hope Program.
Ruben initially started off as a student at San Andreas High School under the Growing Hope Pathway. Upon aging out of the program at 22 years old, he was offered the opportunity to intern under The Growing Hope Program through CityWay and Inland Regional Center. After his 1 year internship, Ruben was hired as a part-time employee, where he continues to work with The Growing Hope Program, its students and staff.
